I used the turn on the whirlpool every 2 weeks to clean out when my daughter lived at home and used the tub with bathtub salts oils bubbles etc but since she left home i did not start it and the motor seized.

Fill the tub with hot water to 2 3 in 5 1 7 6 cm above the highest jets. This concentrates the flow resulting in a deeper cleaning. Clean all jet parts and clean and rinse tub. Add 2 tablespoons tsp and 4 oz bleach.

Drain tub fill again as before and run 10 more minutes. I have had this tub for a good 10years now but only used the jets twice too noisy.
